Dillon Maxwell is a graduate student at Colorado State University studying Public History with a focus in Cultural Resource Management. In the 2017-18 academic year, he was named the Programs of Scholarly Research and Excellence Fellow at the Public Lands History Center. He also worked on projects for Colorado Parks and Wildlife focusing on Cultural Resource Stewardship chapter for Lory State Park.

In his spare time, Dillon enjoys on and off-road bicycle touring, camping, reading non-fiction about the American West, and petting any dog he comes across.
